The building
We now have a building near downtown Hamilton to begin creating our workshop. The building needs a lot of work to create a space that fits the needs of a modern makerspace. We need your help to create the space.
We need members to make this happen
Now that we have a location we need to build a team of like-minded makers to pull this off. We are looking for Beta members and volunteers to create a great space to make in Hamilton!
We need partners to make this happen
We are also looking for local partners to help make this happen. Starting anything new requires help. Any material support that helps us create a Makerspace in Hamilton is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Creating the organization
We are in the process of filing for a 501(c)(3) to manage the expenses of Makerspace Hamilton. Anyone with experience operating a non-profit who is also interested in being a member of Makerspace Hamilton please get in touch with us.
Modifying the building
The building at 314 S. Third St. was a bar at one time. The first floor has lots of open space for tools and projects, and a second floor that will be utilized for 3D printing, drafting, office space, electronics, and other high tech activities.
